Family Friendly Only Paint Afternoon with Sierra Banwarth
Join us at the Empty Arms office for a cozy afternoon of creativity, connection, and a little bit of colourful chaos, led by the wonderfully talented Sierra Banwarth.
Grief can be hard to put into words — especially for kids. Art and creative play can give children and grown-ups another way to express themselves, remember someone they love, explore big feelings, or simply enjoy being together. There is no expectation that what you create needs to be about grief. Sometimes painting is just painting, and having a safe place to create together is enough.
Sierra will guide families through a fun, approachable painting project designed for artists of all ages and abilities. No artistic experience is needed, and all materials and supplies are provided.
This is a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon where wiggles are welcome, perfection is absolutely not required, and families can spend some meaningful time creating alongside others who understand.
This event is free and open to families. Space is limited, so registration is required.
Come as you are — we'll have the paintbrushes (and probably a few messes) ready. 🤍
