Krysta

Krysta’s connection to Empty Arms began after the stillbirth of her son, Henry, in 2014, just before the organization was founded. Through the early support groups offered by Empty Arms, she found a community and a safe space to grieve, heal, and connect with others who understood her experience. Over the years, Krysta has remained deeply involved with Empty Arms, serving as a one-on-one peer supporter, group facilitator and organizer, event volunteer, and now as a member of the Board of Directors.

Prior to stepping into the role of Executive Director at Empty Arms, Krysta has been a dedicated nonprofit professional with a passion for community-building and family support.

Krysta is also an active Girl Guide leader, mom, wife, and engaged member of her local community. She is proud to have been part of Empty Arms’ journey from the very beginning and remains inspired by the compassion, strength, and connection that continue to shape its mission.
