A Night to Remember Gala

Empty Arms Perinatal Loss Support Services is a comprehensive bereavement support program serving Saskatchewan families who come to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital and are touched by pregnancy loss and/or infant death. Our mission is to help families of pregnancy loss and infant death to build a strong foundation, ensuring the family’s journey is healthy, complete, and with as few regrets as possible.

We are both proud and humbled to provide the following services to the families we serve, all of which are fee of charge: birth and bereavement companion support by certified individuals; professional remembrance photography; supported use of a CuddleCot, in-hospital or at home; memory making options and guidance, and mementos; collecting/providing keepsakes; postpartum lactation information; postpartum information and support; several monthly in-person support groups; online support groups; peer mentor networking; resource lists/lending library for family members and friends; and more.

In order to continue providing all of these invaluable services, Empty Arms is holding our annual gala, A Night to Remember. Tickets to the event are $100, which include a $50 donation receipt, your entry into the historic Boom Town at the WDM, a delicious plated meal, the chance to win one of our fabulous door prizes, and access to our amazing silent auction tables. Also back by popular demand this year is our dessert auction!

Although 100% of the proceeds will be going towards families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss, the event itself will be a beautiful, uplifting, and fun-filled evening.

No Foot Too Small

Empty Arms is pleased to present our 5th annual memorial and awareness walk, No Foot Too Small.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of the incidence of pregnancy and infant loss (1 in 4) while simultaneously honouring the little ones we hold in our hearts. Parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, neighbours, all are welcome to join!

The walk will once again take place at Kinsmen Park in Saskatoon. Given the history of extremely cold weather this day, we are pleased to announce that we have taken the following measures to help keep you and your guests warm and dry this year:

Propane stand heaters
(Limited) tent coverage
Registration option with hooded sweatshirt
Warm beverages (coffee, tea, hot chocolate)

Registration for the walk will begin at 10:00am, with our traditional lunch (by donation) upon completion of the walk.

**We encourage families to make signs to carry with them on their walk, honouring their little ones.
